It's been about 5 years since the canines were set free from Spatech and left to take over Machlyne. They established packs, and lived fairly normal lives. Their descendants, however, are facing something only thought of in horror films.
On what started out to be a normal day scientists started an experiment to make one live longer. The drug had horrible adverse effects. It made the test canine zombie like. He was almost rabid, but it was worse. Instead of killing the canine, it left him in an awkward state between life and death. The worst part was, this spread like rabies. The drug had created some sort of disease. The dog was enraged and bit the scientist. Unaware that anything was wrong the lab worker went about his day. As the disease progressed he began to get.. hungry. He attacked his coworkers, biting and eating them. Lucky for him, only hours after it started he died. Humans only lived for hours, but the zombie canines seemed to live for normal life spans or maybe even longer. All the humans in the area are gone. Only the animals remain. No one knows why the animals live with this disease when it kills humans in a matter of hours. Now that the humans are gone and the zombie canine is free, this disease is about to spread like wildfire.
